The details of your wedding day matter. You plan and choose every aspect of the day. Details can be large and small. Large details are eye catching and obvious. These include your venue, dress, and color scheme. Smaller details are also important, but they are less evident while impacting the day. This includes things like your rings, invitations, shoes, jewelry, flowers, your ‘something blue’ and ‘something borrowed.” Mid level details are things like food, drinks, favors for guests, and displays of special items and photos of beloved family members unable to be present.
As you plan your day start a planning and design notebook… either written or digital. Include photos and descriptions of all your selections and ideas. This will aid you in bringing together the details you love and want to make part of your special day and lifetime of memories.
For the small items put together a detail box filled with items for your photographer to photograph on wedding day. Include an invitation, save the date card, your jewelry, your shoes, your perfume bottle and anything else special to you that fits inside. Have your groom do the same. The photos composed from these items and the creativity of your photographer will be a treasury to last a lifetime.
